A unique immortal jellyfish
🌍🌎🌏🌐 Hey guys, today "geographic world" share to you all about an interesting news, i.e. the good news is that you can be immortal. The bad news is that you have to become a floating blob of jelly to do so. Yes the scientists discovered a unique sea creatures of earth which is immortal, in 1883. This immortal creatures is only found in the depth of mediterranean sea and in the waters of Japan.
✓The immortal jellyfish is thinner than the nail of your smallest finger. It is at maximum 4.5mm (0.18 inch) tall and wide. They are tiny creatures. Younger turritopsises have only 8 tentacles and are 1 mm tall, while adult ones can have up to 90 tentacles.
✓The biological name of the unique sea creature is Turritopsis dohrnii. It is small species of sea creatures. They are biologically immortal because they are not secured by the sea predators under water. For the daily survive sometimes they injured. Then which organ is injured it's shrink itself or sometimes it downfall and turns into a blob and a new same organ is originate from their body. On their adult age they turned themselves into a polyp not for one time but again over again.
✓The turritopsis dohrnii likes to stay in warmer water they originated from the Caribbean sea and the Mediterranean Sea. They eat the small plankton, fish eggs and small mollusk. Their stomach is bright red colour.
✓There are three types of turritopsis jellyfish: the dohrnii, the nutricula and the rubra are spread out all over the world and it is not so easy to differentiate between these tiny jellyfish.The nutricula is found in the Caribbean and North America. And finally the rubra is a turritopsis that can be found next to New Zealand waters.
