Up to 4000 m plain area is called higher plateau. The plateaus are Bolivia plateau, Pamir Plateau, Tibetian plateau, Ladakh plateau. Pamir is highest plateau of the world and it is called "roof of the world". The average hight of this plateau is 4,878 m. Ladakh is the largest plateau of the world.
